Why would I have been sent a solid black screen when I ordered a frosted stealth grey?





I'm pretty disappointed as I paid extra to get a screen I can see through.

Sorry for the delay in coming back to you, I was out of the office until today.

You ordered a Frosted Stealth Grey screen (which is very much like a Matt Black), but it is 100% OPAQUE, you cannot see through it as it is described as Frosted.

If you wanted a screen that you could see through but was still Dark, you would have needed to order a Dark Tint.

I believe you e-mailed into our sales e-mail address asking this question and my colleague e-mailed back with a copy of our colour chart (see below) asking which colour you were looking for ?

I bought the medium in dark tint.  I do look through it.  Unfortunately, I did not know about the discount when I ordered.

It looks great, but the real benefit is the aero.  With just bare stock, the turbulence at higher speeds was very fatiguing.  The speeds depends on the wind.  With the medium screen, the turbulence was mostly gone and it is a much better ride.

I wish I had seen that image that described all the colours before I ordered. In hindsight, I was after the dark tint as I would like to be able to see through it if I am in a tuck and it would appear that it is the only colour option you can see through for a ZH2. I feel like an idiot and am pissed off because I've wasted so much money on something I won't ever fit on my bike because I can't see through it. In future, you might want to add that image of all the colours on the actual page you order the screen on to save anyone else from any confusion and making the same mistake.

Hello Rob,

Further to your e-mail below and post on the Z H2 forum, the screen in your screenshot is a DARK TINT.

As you can see from the screenshot below from our website showing the colour options for the 400 mm screen that you ordered, we do not list it in a LIGHT TINT, only the following colours :

DARK TINT
SOLID BLACK
FROSTED STEALTH GREY

With regards to us providing a better description saying that the Stealth Grey is opaque, it has the word FROSTED at the start of it which clearly describes that it is not see through. 

There is also a picture showing the Frosted Stealth Grey and the fact that you cannot see through it along with 2 pictures of the Dark Tint which you can see through. See images below.

On this occasion, because we want all of our customers to be happy with their purchases, we will send you a free of charge screen in Dark Tint but would ask you to cover the shipping cost of £25 to Australia.

We can send you a PayPal invoice for this cost as soon as you confirm.
