My originals lasted about 3000 miles, I changed them sooner than I had too due to leaving on a long ride.

I have read that somewhere as well eddies (as mentioned earlier in this thread).  Michelin recommend the Power 5s for the bike, if recommended tyres are listed in order of preference then these are the top choice.

It's time to change tires, does anyone use Bridgestone S22 tires here? Do you have experience with it?Or an opinion on Michelin Power 5?

Will be moving to m9rr. I would love to put rosso corsa 2 on, but they won't last as long as I'd like.  Power 5 is a good tire until the last 3rd is very hard.  I found the rear end wouldnt grip as well as the rosso 3.  There is a rosso 4 coming out that seems more like the corsa 2 which will be interesting.  I ride my bike very hard.  If you're not always holding the throttle open then power 5 will be good and probably last longer than stock.

Motomummy.com has a sale on the S22s. 250$ shipped for our bike with stock tire sizes. I used them and they are great until the wear bar. After that it’s a gamble. For sport touring the PR5’s are great I’ve had 2 sets of those and they have been flawless in every weather condition (besides snow). For “Best” dry performance I use Pirelli Supercorsa SC not the SP. I just ordered a few sets of the Michelin Power Cup 2’s for the ZH2 will get back to you when I get them on.

That's interesting. I have not used s22, but hear good things.  How much life do you get out of a rear? How do they compare to rosso corsa 2? I love them on my SFV4.  I was considering M9RR next...

I haven’t tried the Rosso Corsa 2s but I hear good things. I got 2,300 out of the rear and 1,900 from the front. They were a gamble after the wear bars though. For street use the S22 were good and cheap. I hit the wear bars a few hundred miles before I changed them. Cold pressures were 34F 32R. Yes I run “low” pressures personal preference. For commuting I use 36F 42R cold.
