Clock Resetting itself
on: October 25, 2020, 01:49:14 PM
Has happened twice now. Clock resets to 12:00 and max lean angle to 0
Haven't noticed any other settings being changed. Any ideas?

Only time that happened to me, I used the rideology app. Reset everything as you said. Stopped using the darn app because of it, but really, it just isn't necessary for me. Might be related to something else, scientifically I didn't isolate it to that, yet I am pretty sure. Now, if you didn't use the rideology app, I am as useless as . . .

I've noticed the same. Two times. I asked my dealer's mechanic, and he told me "try to disconnect and connect again the battery". I did it, and it never happened again. I'm not sure it's a case or not, but for the moment it worked.

Happened once to me also after stopping for gas. Didn't have the ride app on.

Mine too, clock just loses time rather than a 1200 reset, lean angles 0 as does elapsed time and blue tooth turns off.  My current theory is that its caused by the heated grips not being turned off before I switch the bike off.  So diligently switching them off and its not happening, though the bikes been off the optimate for a few days so I'll check it tomorrow to see if its a battery drain issue not caused by the grips.

Just to give us more info, in my case, I don't have neither the app installed and the heated grips.

No heated grips and when it's in the garage I have it on a battery tender. Hasn't happened since the two times.

Ok that good news actually, I thought I was going to be the only one in the world with the problem.
No heated grips here, and I don't use the app. When I say it resets to 12:00, both times it was like 1:30 or 1:45 I just assumed it went to 12 about an hour or so before I noticed it. And the lean angle as well, I didn't actually see 0 it was straight up highway like 25*.
I'll pull the plug on the battery and see if that helps. It's not worth taking it to the dealer for, I know what time it is. TIME TO RIDE!            if it wasnt freezing and raining, maybe next week lol
