on: September 02, 2021, 03:57:02 PM
Looking to upgrade my suspension, looking at either nitron or K-tech

What would you guys recommend of the following setups

Nitron:
Rear shock - NTR R3
Front forks - NTR TVT Pro 25mm

K-tech
Rear shock - DDS Pro
Front Forks - 25IDS

I have the Nitron R3 on mine and it is really nice. I can totally recommend it for the price if that's any help. I just set the sag correctly when I fitted it and have never looked back. When you make a few clicks adjustment in either rebound or low and high speed damping you can feel the difference with it. Good to get it how you like. I actually found the stock front suspension ok after adjusting it.

I have the K-Tech DDS Pro and along with a set of Metzeler M9RR's it has completely transformed the bike.

I have not made any changes to the forks apart from having to add 2.5 turns more preload as the back end doesn't squat all the time now putting more weight on the front.

I decided on the Nitron set up

Mainly due to the local company that does K-Tech didnt get back to me.

It will get done in end of Oct as there's a 5 week waiting time plus im away working at the moment

Front is OK but if im changing the back shock i thought may as well do front too.
