Great Info! I’ve been looking on e-bay for the SX-SE rear shock. Seems like the prices have went up! $600 is the best I’m seeing currently. I have been trying to sort handling issues on my 2020 ZH2 for awhile.

What’s the next best option for a quality shock that won’t break the bank?

Thanks for the link JD! I just purchased the shock, should be here next week! I’m hoping it improves my ZH2’s handling. I’ve been trying to sort it out for awhile now.

Finally got a chance to take it out and test. I just set all the clickers in the middle as a baseline, then backed off 1 turn. This is the shock that SHOULD have come on this bike in the first place. If mod 1 is a muffler, mod 2 is the shock. 100% better

It would be interesting to ride back to back bikes with the H2 SX SE shock and one with an aftermarket alternative (Ohlins, K-Tech, Wilbers etc...) just to see what an extra $400-$1000 buys besides aesthetics.

That would be very interesting to check out! I almost broke down and ordered the Ohlins shock. I got my H2SX shock installed today and Wow! It doesn’t wag its tail randomly going into a turn! I’m very pleased with it so far.

Yea, just did a 230 mile local ride yesterday and the bike was so planted. I can't imagine that those expensive aftermarket shocks can improve much on that, at least for road riding at sane speeds.

If I was a dedicated track rider I may have opted for the Ohlins, but for my needs this shock is a huge improvement. I’m still trying to get the settings dialed in. I’m a 200lb rider fully geared up. I set a baseline as JD mentioned. What settings have you found best?

I'll count the clickers this weekend and revert back to you on that.
