Rad Guard
on: May 04, 2020, 04:18:51 PM
Has anyone found a rad guard that fits?
Does anyone know if the rad is the same on H2 or H2 SX?
Really want to get a rad guard on the bike, the rad is huge a just waiting for a rock to hit it!

I installed R&G rad guard. Very easy. It took about 20 min and sits perfect.

I fitted an R&G guard, fits really well nice and neat just inside the side pieces of the radiator. Took me approx 30 minutes. Would recommend.

I ordered the R&G rad guard and I'm not happy with the fit. The gap at the bottom of one side is too big, it doesn't fit nicely. Once I tighten the screws, it doesn’t hold stiff enough. I think it will resonate when traveling, even though there is a sponge spacer underneath. I am not happy with this product. Why couldn’t even the left and right sides be fixed under the rad plastic blanket?

I'll be keen to see what you think, I was also looking to get one. I made the mistake of getting the Kawasaki genuine one for my z900RS and it is stupidly flimsy. If I had of known I would have opted for another version. Radguard products are usually very good quality items.
