    Evotech query

    Hey Team

Darky from Oz again, with 23 Z H2.

I've become a big fan of the Pommy Evotech product, the quality is unsurpassed (tail tidy on my z900rs)

I'd like to kit out the H2 with all Evotech, but they only list a front axle spool set, no rear. I've contacted them directly, but they weren't really helpful, if only to say we don't have a rear listed.

Anyone else had and resolved this issue? Surely there's an equivalent set from another model???

    Thanks.

    darky....

    Righto, I'm still here....

Width of the rear axle is 335mm. Surely there's something else in someone's range of the same width, if not Special K another brand???

Also, the brake side has castle type nut with a split pin. This would have to go, to allow the axle sliders rod to go through. Problem? Is this normal and ok, ie do the axle sliders prevent the nut coming loose??

    darky out...

I dont believe I ve ever seen sliders for the rear axle!...

The castle nut and pin are there for very good reasons...

Possible reason for not making rear sliders for the axle apart from having to retain the locking mechanism is the lean angle limit loss due to ground clearance...

The ZH2 doesn't share a swingarm part number with any other Kawa models, so there are at least some differences between them.

That said, Evotech DOES offer a Front/Rear Spindle Bobbin Kit for the 21+ ZX10R, which uses the same overall Swingarm structure, and Castle Nut/Cotter Pin retention system, so apparently that isn't a deal breaker.
