I have the original brake lever on the bike. I did try pulling on the lever harder, softer, pulling slightly up and down when I pull it, and checked to see if the switch is loose in the bracket. I will try to disconnect the switch and check the contacts. If none of that works, it looks like the replacement part is just under $25 from Kawasaki. It will not be fun trying to find the plug in the harness and replacing it.

This miniature micro switch is not only for brake lights but also cruise control and is located at the lower part of the lever, it is extremely flimsy to say the least, but if you can activate and engage the cruise control then the switch is OK, if you find that you can activate but cannot engage cruise control then the switch may well be damaged, faulty or you got a break in the wire...

I'm looking to remove my passenger pegs, but I have the helmet lock which mount to the left passenger peg and also under the seat.

Anyone know if the Sato lock base also hooks under the rider's seat? They don't have a shot of the bracket by itself so I can't tell. I don't want someone to be able to take the helmet by just unscrewing the 2 peg bolts. Figured that I'd check here in case anyone has it.

Hello,
the "contact" is a microswitch, a simple on-off switch. Is it the original brake lever or one from the accessories? Is it adjustable? then just try a different setting. Have you ever tried whether it depends on how hard you pull the lever?  If it is an accessory lever, it may have different dimensions than the original. Maybe the switch is loose in the bracket. otherwise I would first spray the switch with contact spray, but it can of course also be a plug connection somewhere in the wiring harness.  :003:

Hello everyone, I am having the opposite issue with my 2020 ZH2. When I pull the front brake handle the light isn't coming on consistently. Sometimes it works, others it causes the brake light to flicker, and sometimes it doesn't work at all. Any suggestions? The rear brake light switch works fine for me. TYIA!!

NO it does not fit/. spacer thickness, and sensors are different.

Checked torque again. I set the wrench and felt the steering stem nut barely turn to spec, so I know that’s good. I can’t really feel much improvement, so I twisted the Brocks steering damper to max, 18 clicks! The front feels night and day difference in stability.

I also broke my bank and ordered a H2-SX rear shock! I’ve been reading this will improve handling 🤞
