I am getting installed next Tuesday hopefully. The end port fits the OEM metal gasket so I believe it would be compatible with any OEM exhaust.

Modifications, Accessories, and Appearance / Inexpensive tail tidy ($30-$50)« Last post by Stevoiscool on September 29, 2023, 07:17:00 pm »Hey everyone just wanted to share this cheap tail tidy I threw on my bike yesterday. I purchased it from Vagabond Motorsports, it's originally made for the z900 but says it will fit the ZH2 on their website. The only downside to this tail tidy is when installed there is pressure pushing down on the side turn signals, but still functions fine especially for the money. It's listed for $50 on their site but I also found one on Amazon which I'm not sure if it is a Chinese clone (originally supposed US made) or not but it was only $30 and looks the same and comes with all the proper hardware. I like the look quite a bit and don't see any reason to spend the $100+ for something else. For a video on how to install I use the one from New rage cycles on the ZH2 for the disassembly and the one on the vagabond Motorsports website to disassemble the original tail and set up the new one.

The inside of the hose was slightly damp with some oil vapor so maybe worthwhile to just run it unhooked and capped off even if you aren't looking for the noise in order to avoid the vapor and hot air going back into the intake. I'll test it with it fully removed but at the very least I'm going to leave it unhooked from the intake so oil won't be coming in through anywhere. 6

My mate put a bov on his h2 and is gonna take it off cos it hisses all the time and is a constant annoyance. Good luck man. 7

Haven't done the pair block and not really sure about the purge valve on my bike. I have an SLR ECU flash, so not sure if that disabled some of those. Going to do the blow off valve mod soon so I can hear the hissing sound.

I'm using heater hose, just stick with it mate and keep an eye on it. My conclusion is people are overthinking the oil issue. I reckon the pcv outlet is too close to the impeller and it is getting sucked out.
I have blocked off everything on the snorkel so only fresh air is getting in  I went for a ride today and not even a mist in the can.Have you cleaned out your plenum, blocked off pair system and got rid of the purge valve?? Take off the snorkel, spray degreaser in, hose out and let it dry, no need to crack it apart and change gasket now.  9
Modifications, Accessories, and Appearance / Re: Exhaust help« Last post by Stevoiscool on September 29, 2023, 02:57:40 am »I just purchased these headers off eBay from "Lextek" they were less than half the price of the Akrapovic headers, but are Chinese-made if that matters to you. I should have them on the 3rd (only one week from ordering even though the estimated delivery was like 3 weeks) and will let you know how they work out after getting them installed next week. These headers have an OEM-style exit so should work with my Brocks pentacarbon slip-on and I would imagine they would work with the Austin racing exhaust as well. If you want a nicer option the Akrapovic headers are available though their exit does look to be at a slightly different angle so the fit could vary depending on the slip-on, though many here have used them with other brands (SC project, graves, etc), so would likely work as well.
